The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce

The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce is seeking an intern for our Marketing & Programs Department. The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce is a membership driven non-profit organization that serves over 2,000 businesses in the city of San Francisco. Chamber members are as diverse as the city itself: they represent businesses of all sizes and industries, and viewpoints from every position on the political spectrum. The Chamber administers business development programs including networking events, forums, conferences, and committees to help both members and non-members connect and advance in the business community.

We are looking for an intern who possesses the following:

- Solid research skills and willingness to lead research initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Interest in developing programming opportunities for the business community at large
- Willingness to support all aspects of programs, including planning and onsite logistics
- Ability to perform administrative tasks including photocopying, excel spreadsheet work and event logistics
- Exhibits professionalism and maturity within a business environment

The internship would begin immediately and can be scheduled as a part-time internship to accommodate school or job schedules.

Hours per Week: minimum of 16 hours (2 days per week)
Compensation: (Unpaid, Support for academic credit)
